Lost
Man, Lost is awesome this season. It gets even better when you read this time loop theory. Each episode has been better than the last and there hasn’t been one clunker (previously known as a Sun/Jin episode). I’m going to go out on a massive limb here and say that this season of Lost is thus far better than this season of The Wire. Anyone care to argue with me?
Crazy Night
Pat and I have been doing this bit at work for a few weeks. Last week we decided to film it.
Also, I have a new article on NYT’s LaughLines. Enjoy? Hopefully.
The Falcon's Musical Mastery
Over the Summer I had what I thought was a very funny idea. I went over to one of our interns at the time, Chris ‘the Falcon’ Han, and asked him to help make my idea a reality. The idea was for Chris to make a mashup of all Canadian songs. I asked him specifically because A) I knew he made mashups for fun and B) I had seen him musical talents first hand when he produced another idea...
Connecticutians Unite!
I have a little hometown proud article over at MentalFloss.com about things that were invented in my home state of Connecticut. And before you leave a comment here or there pointing out all I’ve missed, let me say that this is not meant to be a definitive list of everything ever invented in CT as some MF commenters seem to have assumed. I obviously know the hamburger was invented in CT,...
The Wit Of Jon Gabrus
My friend Jon Gabrus came over for dinner the other night.
Jon: Where’s Jake? (My roommate) Streeter: He’s at a Third Eye Blind concert upstate somewhere. Jon: Shut up! Where’d he get a time machine?!
New NYT Post
I wrote up this little post for LaughLines on NYTimes.com. I really like writing for them A) because it impresses my Mom and B) because it allows me to make nerdier jokes to an audience who, I hope, appreciate them. Anyway, since I promised not to just plug something without making the post itself funny, allow me to tell you a joke.

Will It Ever Die?
Yet another incarnation of my most recognized piece of writing, The Ten Commandments of College. This one comes in a very poorly produced YouTube video. (Note: Thou Shalt Walk It Out was not in my original article)
LOLMe?
Got an amazing piece of fan mail tonight. So much better than the ‘I carved your names into my thigh’ bullshit I usually get.

Here's Something Weird
Here’s a little character I’ve been doing around the office for the past few weeks: Overgrown Guy Girlfriend. I’m pretty much doing an impression of my loving, caring girlfriend, with the exception of a few lines (she loves Jewish people…unlike me). Anyway, enjoy the oddest thing I’ve ever done at work.
When Two Become One
When someone complimented ‘Streeter/Sarah’ for our work in this video and then someone else asked, “Who is this Streeter/Sarah? Is there some sort of mutated transgendered monstrosity running amok in the CH office?” Sarah suggested we make a mashup of our faces and created an account for this new human. We did just that.
How creepy is this photo?
MeIsGone
I know I pledged to work on it in the new year but sadly I’ve decided to close down my fact-a-day site., MeIsSmart. I know it had its fans and I thank all of you who checked it out but it’s too much work for me to do right now. Perhaps if I become less busy someday I will bring it back because, without a doubt, writing about interesting facts is a favorite hobby but till then any...
