Dance Like No One's Watching
Work like you don’t need money, Love like you’ve never been hurt, And dance like no one’s watching.
This quote has been gracing the away messages and status updates of girls since the Internet was invented, but where does it come from? Well, after just having a dream where my ex-girlfriend kept saying it to me, I woke up and decided to dig around a bit.
I first found this long...
Complaints I Wish I Had
“My girlfriend always orgasms so quickly when we’re together I barely have to do anything.”

I just found this old humor piece I was writing for the NYT. I don’t remember why they didn’t want it but I thought it was pretty funny. Enjoy? Hopefully!
The Death of Newspapers? I Think Not.
Much has been made in the media lately about the death of the newspaper. At first glance, it’s hard to argue against the statistics: circulation in the US has fallen 5% in the last five...
Extended Pixar Intro
I think this is one of the best things we’ve ever done. My hat is off to Dan and Sam who wrote it, Gloo studios who did the animation and Carl Sondrol who scored it.

Hardly Working: Stomp. We decided to take a break from comedy and do some avant-garde performance art. One of my favorites in a while. Kudos to shooter/editors Matt & Creighton for painstakingly piecing together this doozy.
Telling Jokes Tonight at Karma - 8PM
I’m doing a spot at Jamie Lee’s show, Diamonds in the Fluff, tonight at 8. The show is at Karma, located here. Also on the show, Janeane Garofalo, Pete Holmes, Katina Corrao, and David Cope. Should be a good one so come on out!
Also, I hear that Karma still lets people smoke inside, so it’s kind of like going to a historical re-enactment of what a standup comedy show was like...
Tonight! Pranked on MTV at 10:30
It’s our second to last regular episode and I’ll be doing my usual Q&A via Twitter. So if you have a question durind the show, tweet it @streetseidell and one of my interns will be sure to answer you.
Now, I’m speculating here but the latest SNL Digital Short, “On the Ground,” (very funny) seems to me to be a parody of a very obscure 1994 dance/club song called “Funk Dat” by a guy named Sagat. For some reason this song has stuck with me for the past 15 years and sometimes say “Man, funk dat” and people look at me like I’m afraid to say...
Season 1 - wrapped!
amirblumenfeld:
Today we shot our ninth (and final) episode of “Pranked!” wrapping season one.
I never thought I’d be hosting a show on MTV, but it’s been a really fun, exciting, and unique experience. Everything was awesome, from writing the scripts with Streeter to developing a camaraderie with the crew.
The picture below is from my favorite production day: Our first outdoor shoot — Episode...
I saw a great Amex ad on TV last night and I can’t find it online. It was a bunch of inanimate objects that looked like smiley faces. I don’t know how much better I can describe it than that. If anyone out there who is good at Internet can find it for me I will give you up to three props. So, can anyone find it?
UPDATE: 3 Props to you guys who found it!
Reeeeeeeemix contest on my buddy's site →
My friend Dan owns and operates a site for musicians called IndabaMusic. They’ve started doing these fun remix contests for their users and maybe you can get in on one? This new one is by far the best - users compete to (legally) remix tunes from Kanye West, David Byrne, Chuck D, RZA, The Cool Kids, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Tom Waits, DJ AM, KRS-One, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Lykke Li,...
Pranked tonight at 10:30 on MTV
