I’m very excited that The Darkness are reunited and recording again. They were one of my favorite bands of the aughts and there isn’t one person in the world who doesn’t like this song. They, like old Blink 182, seemed to be one of the only famous bands who were having a lot of fun being in a famous band. If I were in a famous band I think I would always be in a good mood. Anyway, this is their new song and I obviously like it. 

I heard another new one called “Cannonball” on the radio during my honeymoon. My new wife and I were in a gift shop in The Seychelles when I heard Justin Hawkins’ signature falsetto. I ran over to the corner of the store where the radio was and stood facing the wall like a psycho until the song was over. I turned the data plan on my phone on for a minute so I could email myself the name of the song, too. I don’t think Vanessa knew quite how much I liked The Darkness. I still can’t find that song, sadly. If anyone gets a lead on a non-live version, let me know. I’ll pay anything (up to, and including, $1.29 on iTunes)
